COMMUNITY IMPACT

The American Barber Association works with barbers, barbershops and other entities to make an impact on the communities in which barbers and barbershops operate. Throughout American history, Barbershops and barbers have played a key role in building and re-building communities to be healthy places to live, work, pray and play. We encourage our members to get involved a program aimed to improving the local community.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

COMMUNITY IMPACT AWARD: An awarded given to barbers or barbershops that are working to make a positive difference in the community. Learn More
ABA CHAPTERS: Chapters empower our members to make an impact in their communities. A new program of the ABA, Chapters make an impact!
ABA COMMUNITY IMPACT: The ABA supports a number of community impact issues, such as; veterans homeless, domestic violence, prostate cancer and a host of other impact issues.
BARBERS MATTER CAMPAIGN: Due to COVID-19 and the disruption to barbers and barbershops. This campaign aims to place a spotlight on the need to address the pandemic but also to respect the barbering profession, and its capacity and experience to keep its customers and employees safe.
JOB BOARD: The ABA works to connect barbers to local jobs.
